i hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday this year.
i still can't believe christmas was a few days ago.

it has been snowing all week. i am so sick of snow.



a lot of crap happened but i won't get into it.
it'll only get me angry.

on christmas day i made cookies and also made christmas dinner for the family once we got back home from church service.

i went to go see Avatar with Ally and the gang. it was friggin amazing~

somehow i find it easier to post on blogger and i spend so much time and work when posting photos and using html.
so, i'll still keep the livejournal, but i'll be using my blogger more. that still doesn't mean that i won't check everyone else's livejournals. i will put your links on my blogger list and follow you guys.

Rose came home and as usual she whines and whines until i drive her out somewhere.

we went to streets of woodfield to get some Jersey Mike's sub. the kahuna steak sub is the best sub ever!
we also stopped by Pop' N Corn to get a elf (really it is called elf size) bag mix of cheese and caramel popcorn.

on the way out i noticed the Olive Oil Place shop.
i've always wanted to check it out, because if you love to cook like i do, good olive oil makes a big difference.

we went in and it is a petite little shop. they have olive oil soaps, balsamic vinegar, seasonings and of course a huge variety of olive oil.
we sampled the chipotle, tuscan, lemon, sweet and walnut olive oil.

we both loved the walnut olive oil and i decided to buy a 12oz. bottle.






i went to work right after and made some pasta when i got back home.
pasta, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, red peppers, fresh herbs, grilled chicken, salt n pepper, minced garlic and some of that walnut oil and viola!

rose and i tried it and it was delicious!
the walnut olive oil definitely brings out a different taste.

i might go back for some macadamia nut oil.

honestly, i was playing with the bubble wrap that it came in for 15 minutes (dork alert!) before i started ripping it open to see what
goodies she sent me.

i am even wearing the tank you sent me as i am typing this. comfy~ness~.....

i thought the post office lost the package. i lost so much mail to the chicago post office. they suck!

in other news... my cna clinical is going alright. i have gotten close to some of the residents.
they have so many stories to tell and i love listening to them.

i really am enjoying it and i could do this for the rest of life. i love caring and helping these people
who can't help themselves. i feel like this is what i was meant to do.





now i must take a nap and then wake up @ 3am to do the rest of my homework and studying before class
starts at 8am.

it will be a rough night.

i am excited about thanksgiving coming up. i love cooking for the family.
people tell me i should become a chef, but i refuse to.

they ask me why i won't do it.

i always tell them, " i hate cooking for snotty ungrateful bastards!"

i've been so busy with my class and clinicals that i haven't been able to update.
i am so exhausted. i only get an average of 3-4 hrs of sleep a day.

INSANE~!

anyway, i meant to post this a lot earlier, but never had the time to.
my friend Kim had a Halloween party at her place.
i dressed as the mad hatter.




everyone thought i dyed my hair blonde again and didn't realize it was a wig.

i didn't plan on drinking a whole lot at the party, but i got wasted....like REALLY wasted. i kept drinking what i thought
was punch and had like 13 cups of that bastard before someone told me it was jungle juice.

......

so after 30 minutes of drinking it i was all over the place. i remember laughing a lot , but not a whole lot of anything else.

apparently,  people told me that i didn't stop drinking like i kept chugging coke & rum, jello shots and whole lotta other stuff.
i like how no one stopped me.
i went home and passed out for 10 hrs and i woke up to a killer headache.
